Terms of Service

By creating an account on CatchTrove you accept these terms. They describe what the service is, what's expected of you, and what's expected of us. We've kept them as short and direct as we can.
Acceptance
Using CatchTrove — signing in, logging a catch, browsing competition results — means you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. If you stop agreeing later, delete your account from the Account page.
What CatchTrove is
A personal fishing log and a public catalog of Croatian fishing competitions. The personal-log side is private to you. The competition side is read-only public information. Both are provided free, and may eventually carry programmatic advertising.
Account requirements
You must be at least 16 years old. You must sign in with a real Google account that you own — we don't support disposable / shared identities. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Acceptable use
Don't log fake or fraudulent catches and try to pass them off as real for any competitive or commercial purpose. Don't use the service to harass anyone. Don't scrape, automate, or hammer the API. Don't try to break security boundaries (your own data is your own data — other users' data is not). Don't upload anything illegal where you are.
Your content
Your catches and sessions belong to you. We don't claim ownership and we don't license them to anyone. You can export by request (email us) and delete them anytime via the Account page.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time — Account → Delete my account. We may suspend or delete an account that violates these terms or causes ongoing technical harm to the service. We'll try to notify you first if it's not an emergency.
No warranty
CatchTrove is provided "as is." We do our best but don't promise zero downtime, perfect data integrity, or that the service will exist forever. Don't use it as the only place a catch record lives — keep a personal copy if it matters to you.
Limit of liability
To the extent permitted by Croatian law and the GDPR, CatchTrove's operator is not liable for lost catches, lost income, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of (or inability to use) the service. Mandatory consumer-protection rights aren't affected.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, we'll update the date at the top and notify you in-app on next sign-in. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Croatian law. Disputes you can't resolve directly with us are subject to the courts of Croatia. EU consumer-rights mechanisms (ODR platform, your national authority) remain available.
